Ascendas OneHub GKC is developed by Singapore's Ascendas Group with a total investment of RMB 2.3 billion. The business park has a planned area of 30 hectares and a build-up area of 600,000 square meters.

Leading enterprises in the industries of Next Generation Information and Communications Technology, Cultural & Creative, Services Outsourcing, Energy Saving and Environmental Protection, Fortune 500 enterprises, transnational corporations and independent innovation enterprises with advanced technology are targeted for the park. This next generation, multi-functional business space caters to the park's community seeking a vibrant one-stop location for working, living and recreation.

SSGKC’s planned State-level IP Hub spans 49 hectares and is located in the SUA. The SIPO’s Guangdong Patent Examination Cooperation Center and Guangdong Intellectual Property Services Park is located in the park, designed by Singapore’s Jurong International. Leveraging on Singapore’s and other developed countries’ experiences, SSGKC will develop an integrated IP Hub focused on IP trading, evaluation, pledges, information services, agency services, training, etc., for Southern China region, as well as the rest of China.

Occupying a planned area of 2 square kilometers (200 h) in SSGKC, the International Medical Valley will provide a cooperation platform between existing medical care resources in Guangzhou and high-end medical research institutes from Singapore, United States andother developed countries. The project envisions an international healthcare services hub covering research and development, prevention, medical treatment and rehabilitation services. Phase one of the project occupies a land area of 17 hectares, including the Sun Yat-sen University-affiliated South China Tumor Hospital, Guangzhou Taihe Cancer Hospital, Guangzhou Royal Cancer Hospital and two Proton Therapy Centers, making it the most advanced tumor treatment and rehabilitation center in South China. The International Medical Valley will attract world-class medical research and services institutions, promote high-end medical care and pharmaceutical industries, and offer customized, international and comprehensive medical care services to patients.
