Mr Xu has led Guangzhou Development District Commercial Development Group Co., Ltd (“Commercial Development Group”) as its Chairman since 2008. His investment promotion portfolio numbers over 50 foreign invested companies, with a cumulative foreign investment capital worth USD 1.09 billion in contract value. His experience in managing Sino-foreign enterprises include Delsun Steel Structure, Consultant of Mead Johnson Nutrition (China), Director of ELF Lubricants (Guangzhou), where he helped bridge public-private entities with government authorities.
Mr Xu’s academic background includes a Bachelor in Philosophy and Executive MBA, Lingnan College, both from Zhongshan University, as well as an advanced post-graduate seminar jointly organized by the People’s University of China and the University of Oxford on public management.
Mr Hong Hansong is currently the Chairman of Guangzhou Development District Industrial Development Group Co., Ltd. (GDDIDG) and the Secretary of the Party Committee. He was also formerly the Party Secretary of the Guangzhou Economics and Technological Development Zone. Mr Hong’s career experience includes industrial parks development, attracting industrial and technological projects, and management of large enterprises. Under his leadership, GDDIDG has developed into an integrated large state-owned enterprise with developments in industrial investment, business park development, property investment and management, finance, real estate, and investment consulting and services. GDDIDG has been ranked first among GDD’s state-owned enterprises in terms of scale and overall strength.
Mr Hong holds a Masters in Economics from Sun Yat-Sen University and a Masters in Public Administration from the California State University. He is also a senior economist.
Mr Liao Jian Zhou spent 14 years in the Navy where he managed and held Chairmanship over various enterprises, including Deputy General Manager/General Manager/Chairman, GETDD (Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone) State-owned Asset Investment Co., Deputy Chairman, Guangzhou International Business Incubator Co., Ltd, Chairman, Guangzhou Jinpeng Group and Chairman of the South Trans-tech Services Co.
Mr Liao holds a graduate degree.
Mr Chen Fuhua is Secretary of Party Committee and Managing Director of Guangzhou GET Corporation Ltd. He holds chairmanship of Guangzhou GET Culture and Recreation Co., Ltd and Guangzhou technology Venture Investment Co., Ltd; as well as a directorship at Guangzhou GET Innovation Investment Co., Ltd. His job experience covers membership in the CPC Committee and various positions in various industrial development groups like Guangzhou Development District Industrial development group Co., Ltd, Guangzhou Development District Hengfeng Development Co., Ltd and Guangzhou Development District Industrial Development Group Co., Ltd.
Mr Chen holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.
Mr Chen Changxin is the Deputy CEO, Corporate Service and Director of Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City Investment and Development Co., Ltd.
Mr Chen’s career experience spans a broad range of functions including production, technology and operations management, business management and human resource management for a number of government and private enterprises.
Mr Ng Kok Siong is currently the CEO of Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City Investment and Development Co., Ltd, the joint venture company which is the master developer of the Guangzhou Knowledge City project. He was previously the Executive Vice President of Singbridge Corporate Pte Ltd.
Mr Ng has over 20 years of real estate experience in investment, development, asset management and real estate consultancy in Asia Pacific region, particularly in China. He was the Executive Vice President for Asset Management under the Pacific Star Group, an international real estate fund management company based in Singapore.
Prior to joining Pacific Star, he spent eight years in China and was the Managing Director for Ottomen Group of Companies. Ottomen Group is a diversified China-based company with real estate investment, development and consultancy activities in major cities in China. He was also the Executive Director for Cushman & Wakefield PREMAS, and the Regional Director for a subsidiary under CapitaLand Group in China. His earlier experience in Singapore included Head Commercial Property Division of Singapore MRT Ltd. Over the last 10 years, he has been involved in the investment, development, sale, consultancy, asset management and mall management for more than 30 over landmark projects in over 10 cities across China, Hong Kong and other countries in the Asia Pacific region.
Prof Wu Handong is China’s renowned intellectual property expert. Prof Wu was formerly the principal of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and currently the Director and Professor of the Research Center of Intellectual Property Rights of the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. He is also a member of the national strategic Intellectual Property Rights Committee and a consultant to the Supreme People’s Court of the PRC and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of the PRC. Prof Wu has held many lectures for central leaders and is also currently the author of many of China’s law major textbooks. He also participated in the formulation of Hong Kong’s Basic Law and was a legal adviser to Macao’s legislators.
Prof Wu holds a Law major from the Hubei Institute of Finance and Economics and further pursued his postgraduate studies in civil law and received his Doctorate in Law from the Renmin University of China Law School.
Dr Tan Jok Tin is the Senior Advisor of China Aerospace Communication Holding Co. Ltd, a China state-owned company. He was the CEO and Managing Director of Sang Fei Communications Co., Ltd, a subsidiary company of China Electronics Corporation (CEC), which is also a China state-owned company from 2005 to 2013 and continued as Senior Advisor till early 2015. During his appointment with Sang Fei, Dr Tan led the successful acquisition of Royal Philips Electronics’ global Mobile Phones business in 2007.
Dr Tan had a distinguished 27-year career at Royal Philips Electronics in leadership roles for Professional Products and Systems, Telecommunication and Data Systems, Defense and Control Systems, Business Electronics and Consumer Electronics divisions. His appointments with Royal Philips Electronics included Vice President, Chief Technology Officer and Member of Global Management Team, as well as Regional CEO and Managing Director/ General Manager responsible for various businesses in the Asia Pacific region. Dr Tan was also responsible for various large-scale infrastructure projects in Asia Pacific. One of Dr Tan’s major contributions was his lead in a multi-national consortium in the successful acquisition of an S$200 million project to build the world’s first Electronic Road Pricing System for Singapore.
Dr Tan is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology in the United Kingdom; Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in the United States; Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the United Kingdom; Independent Director of Advanced Systems Automation Limited, Singapore. He attended the Mastering Trade Policy Program at Harvard Kennedy School of Government and has a Doctorate degree from Brunel University and a Master degree from University of Strathclyde.
Mr Li Dengyu is currently the Director and Chief Accountant of CCCC Nansha Investment and Development Co., Ltd and concurrently the Chairman and General Manager of Guangzhou CCCC Nansha Investment and Development Co., Ltd. Mr LI began his career in China Communications Construction Company Ltd. (CCCC), a Fortune 500 company, in 2006. CCCC is recognized as China’s largest port and bridge design and construction company, and is primarily engaged in the design and construction of transportation infrastructure, dredging and heavy machinery manufacturing business. Mr Li has accumulated vast experience in project investment, industrial investment, real estate investment and development, operation and management in domestic and overseas transportation infrastructure, public works and environmental protection.
Mr Li is a qualified senior accountant and International Finance Manager (IFM) and is also currently the Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Association of Corporate Finance. Mr Li received his Bachelor in Finance from Changsha’s School of Traffic and Transport Enginering. He also holds an EMBA degree from the Sun Yat-Sen University’s Lingnan College.
